Spokane, Wash. – March 27, 2012 – For nearly 27 years, Crosswalk has been the only emergency shelter for teens in Spokane County. With the support of the Spokane community, Crosswalk now
serves 1,000 teens each year, providing: three meals a day; an on-site school; a recreation program; and, of course, an emergency shelter.
Crosswalk invites the community to join us Thursday, April 12 from 5-7pm for an open house and dinner. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a long-time volunteer or donor or you’re just curious about what happens at Crosswalk or want to learn how to get involved. We hope to see you there! To RSVP or for more information call 509.624.2378 or email Bridget at bcannon@voaspokane.org.
