Volunteer Stories
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month. And, boy, do we appreciate our volunteers. More than 800 volunteers provide nearly 17,000 man-hours each year. That's equal to a contribution of $140,000!
But that's not all, our volunteers contribute much more than just their time. They give their friendship, compassion, humor and insight to everyone with whom they come in contact. And it changes lives. In celebration of Volunteer Appreciation Month, we'd like to share the stories of a few special volunteers:
