Providing Meals
Our Crosswalk teen shelter in Spokane and Project Safe Place drop-in center in Coeur d’Alene both serve meals as a way to nourish both the bodies and souls of at-risk and homeless youth.
When you provide a meal for our youth, you don’t just feed a hungry mouth, you help us gain the trust of hungry teens and support them as they begin to make positive changes.
Between the two programs we serve more than 1,200 group meals a year. We couldn’t do it without the help of people like you who want to make a difference in the lives of local youth.
Most meal providers—churches, civic organizations, businesses, families and individuals—bring one meal per month but you are welcome to provide one meal to try it out. Some meal providers stay and serve the meals and others deliver the food for our staff and volunteers to serve or simply make a donation to cover the cost of a meal.
