Hands_group_1.jpgVolunteers of America of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho designs and operates programs that address the region's most pressing social needs. Wherever we see a need, we find a way to help. That is why Volunteers of America programs in the Inland Northwest include:

  • Services for the homeless (including emergency shelters, homelessness prevention, transitional housing and independent living programs)
  • Low-income housing for the chronically mentally ill and individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS
  • Support services for families in crisis
  • Literacy programs
  • Events benefiting low-income seniors and families

Nationwide, Volunteers of America helps nearly 2 million people in 400 communities.This aid includes services and programs for:
