Helping handsFor more than 100 years, Volunteers of America has helped low-income neighbors with basic services such as:

  • bus passes
  • clothing (temporarily suspended)
  • household items (temporarily suspended)
  • personal hygiene items
  • rental assistance
  • utility bill assistance

Requests always exceed capacity, which is dependent on donor contributions and government funding.

Spokane residents seeking assistance should call 509.624.2378. Emergency Services hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
