This Mother’s Day marks our 14th annual I Remember Mama luncheon. This special event offers an unforgettable afternoon complete with fine dining, entertainment, flowers, gifts and companionship for more than 100 low-income, elderly and disabled women who would otherwise be alone on Mother’s Day. The event also raises funds for Alexandria’s House, our home for pregnant and parenting teens, where the proceeds support new moms all year long.

I Remember Mama gives thousands of generous people the opportunity to demonstrate genuine care and concern for the elderly and forgotten in the community; by donating your time or contributing a gift, you make a real difference in the life of each woman honored.

How Can I Help? Sponsor a Mama
You can participate in this special day by remembering your mother, grandmother or special friend by sponsoring a "Mama"; we will send a Mother’s Day card acknowledging your love. This card will read:

    "Dear [Your Loved One],

[Your Name Here] has made a gift to
I Remember Mama in your honor.

This gift has made it possible for [one or more] women—who may otherwise have spent the day alone—to attend a special Mother's Day luncheon.

[Your Name] wishes you a very happy Mother's Day!"
